December 7- I know where I'm going to be!
This summer after I finished the final Harry Potter, and was feeling that void, caused by knowing there would be no more, my sister recommended "The Golden Compass" trilogy. It was a wonderful way to forget all about Harry Potter. I especially love that the hero is a girl! Now I'm so excited to get to see it brought to life!

The author is Philip Pullman, and the books are:
The Golden Compass
The Subtle Knife
and
The Amber Spyglass

I haven't heard of that series. It looks good. I'm almost finished with Harry - I'll have to check these out.
um, any movie with Daniel Craig . . . I'm there.
I've seen this trailer in the movie theater a few times -- it looks really good. I might just have to pick up the books too.
