Turning 10- Grayson- style

Grayson is the kind of guy who likes to spread celebrating his birthday out over a few days. The weekend before his birthday we started the fun off with a family BBQ. Both Grandpa's came.

So did Uncle Jim and Aunt Enid.

And Grandma too.

Dad grilled up some delicious burgers and dogs, as requested.

And presents were opened.

This year Grayson just requested money from anyone who asked what he wanted. He really wanted to get an iPOD -touch like Fuller, and thanks to many generous relatives his dream came true.

We had red velvet cupcakes, and called the party a success!

On his "real" birthday, he started the day with the breakfast of his choice. Then we went electronics shopping. A beautiful new ipod is now his. I think he's in love.

For dinner he really wanted to have suhsi "off a conveyor belt".

The kids thought this was a very fun thing to do. Rowan was wanting to try these squid, so when they passed him Grayson snagged them for him. Once he looked at them closer he changed his mind about them.
I dared Fuller to try one, which he did for $1. He said they weren't that bad. I'm going to have to take his word for it, because there's no way I'm eating something like that.

Alright, Fuller needs to learn how to bargain, it was worth way more than one dollar!
