Since Fuller and Grayson have been so into chess lately, Rowan has decided that he'd like to play too. However, he has no apparent need to learn any of the rules. Instead he has devised his very own set of rules. If you ever come over and he challenges you to a game of chess you're going to want to know these.
1. Rowan always wins.
2. Rowan's pieces can move any direction and as many spaces as they want.
3. Rowan's opponents pieces can only move one space at a time.
4. Rowan can have two turns in a row any time he wants.
5. Rowan can (and will) take one of his opponents pieces each turn.
6. Rowan's opponent is not allowed to take any of his pieces.
7. ROWAN ALWAYS WINS!
As you can imagine, he's having a hard time finding people willing to play him!

Sounds like Autumn and Rowan need to get together - she plays by his rules! Not much fun to play with her - I finally got to win a game of candyland, I think only because she was bored of playing:)

I think it sounds like every family has one of these rule makers! I think I have four of them, depending on the game we are playing!
Ok...since I know absolutely NOTHING about chess, Rowan can come over and play with me and we can play by his rules! No problem ;)
